The Future of Women’s Health
Begins with Precision Diagnostics.
theblood is revolutionizing women’s healthcare by unlocking the untapped potential of menstrual blood to deliver ground-breaking insights into menstrual pain, endometrial-related disorders, and overall well-being. Just as saliva and urine tests transformed diagnostics, menstrual blood is now paving the way for a new era of non-invasive testing.
We're partnering with top-tier analytical labs to offer menstrual blood diagnostic tests. Through this collaboration, we aim to generate vital data and insights to enhance women's healthcare. With over 150 years of combined expertise, our team is pioneering a data revolution, setting a new benchmark for precision medicine in women’s health.
The key to better diagnostics.
For Women, by Science.
01 Fluid Analysis
Menstrual fluid is an incredible, yet often overlooked, complex biological sample. Unlike systemic blood which requires needles to obtain, menstrual blood is naturally excreted from the body every month and is proving to be an invaluable source of information that scientists are just beginning to explore.
02 Biomarker Validation
Menstrual fluid is more than just blood. It is a complex fluid containing endometrial tissue, cervical and vaginal secretions, as well as microorganisms. What makes menstrual blood unique is that it provides insights into the uterine environment, with biomarkers not present in systemic, regular blood. These biomarkers can provide valuable insights into the endometrium and endometrial-related disorders such as endometriosis.
Our research is focused on harnessing as much information from menstrual blood as possible. With this, we aim to increase knowledge of female physiology and contribute to the development of better diagnostic tools, helping to improve healthcare outcomes for women.
03 Precision-Derived Data
Our approach is driven by data. With each sample, we are obtaining novel insights that will enable the development of a comprehensive database of menstrual blood biomarkers. Through data generation and analysis, we are on a mission to develop a robust, evidence-based platform to provide personalized health insights that are both reliable and cutting-edge.
04 Clinical Research
We collaborate with top academic institutions and renowned principal investigators to analyse menstrual blood biomarkers through rigorous clinical research efforts, from pilot studies to clinical and analytical validation studies.
From validating routine biomarker testing to identifying and investigating novel biomarkers in menstrual blood, our clinical research will inevitably advance the field of diagnostics with increased health insights for women.
